I am ready to be done with this now.

I am gaining weight way too fast, but if I am not eating most of the time, I am nauseous as hell.

Of course, I also have to be careful, because something that sounds yummy for me to take to work for lunch, may turn into a horrible idea before lunch comes around.

I have to pee all of the time.

I am having another really irritating issue (that you really don't want to know about).

For some unknown reason I keep waking up at 2-3 in the morning, EVERY MORNING. No apparent reason. I guess just to be awake and contemplate my navel, which is sticking out farther than it was a month ago.

My clothes are already uncomfortable, not because of the weight gain, but because I don't want them touching me.

My boobs are already beginning to not fit in my bra, and my bras are irritating now (they weren't before).

The water hitting me in the shower is also uncomfortable.

My skin has decided to break out in the most incessant, obnoxious zits I have almost ever had (which it turns out is genetic. My Mom and my Aunt both had horrible breakouts during pregnancy. Bithy apparently almost looked like she had boils) *thank you PTB for not making it that bad on me*

Poor Jonathan is not really getting any, because I am only horny when I first wake up in the morning, and If I am with him, he is not awake then (even if he did wake up, I can't be sure I would want to). Otherwise, I DO NOT want to be touched (unless I am dreaming about Justin Timberlake, WHICH IS REALLY NOT SOMETHING YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT (I don't even want to know about it)).

I am also having odd dreams (see previous). Strange lucid dreams that I only become lucid for the second half of the dream, and not lucid enough to control where they go.

I am craving things. Nothing too odd. Things like Gummy Worms, Ovaltine, Cereal (all kinds of cereal), Fruit. Not all at the same time, mind you, but I went grocery shopping the other day and almost bought 4 boxes of cereal.

I also want to bake cakes and muffins and cupcakes. Not to eat them, just bake them. It would be easier if I had a working oven (I will by the end of the month). This has also gotten me on the kick that I *need* a Kitchen Aid stand mixer (yes, I know I don't, but I want one anyway, and it would make my baking oddness easier).

So, these are my odd pregnancy issues. Prolly TMI for some of you, but I'm hormonal and...
I DON"T CARE!!!

The problem you're experience with the nausea and subsequent dimished appetite are from your body producing extra stomach acid. This is normal in pregnancy, and it can be dealt with.

Start taking antacids for the stomach discomfort. Carry a bottle of Tums with you at all times - it will settle your stomach and gives you extra calcium, which is very important for bone development for your baby.

Start also keeping a box of Saltines and a jar of peanut butter handy. This will also help settle your stomach, but you'll get some protein at the same time - the starch absorbs acide and the protein helps bind the acide and gives you an extra nutritional supplement.

Speaking of supplements, if you aren't already taking prenatal vitamins, you need to start that IMMEDIATELY. They are easy to get at the drug store or health food store.

And about the stomach again - be careful with highly acidic fruit or fruit juices - these will upset your stomach more if you eat or drink them by themselves and not with a meal.

You need to start doing this stuff so that you can get your appetite. It's an apt cliche that you are eating for two right now - not addressing this stuff means you're starving not just yourself, but your little passenger, and at a particularly critical time.

Seriously - this stuff really worked wonders for me - I couldn't get through the day without throwing up at least two or three times before someone told me what to do.

Hope you start feeling better soon.

Thank you! I started taking a prenatal at the beginning of January. I have been carrying tums around with me too! It's not so much that I have lost my apetite. I am hunry all of the time, I just have to keep something on my stomach at almost ALL times to keep it from getting upset. If I wait too long between meals, the nausea just takes over, and then it is hard for me to find something to eat. When I do I am fine then. It's all very irritating!

You've hit the nail on the head there - when you're stomach gets empty, that when the extra stomach acid really fowls everything up. Had the same problem Carry a little baggy with saltines and an energy bar - even a granola bar - around with you at all times. Don't let your stomach get empty and full of acid and the problem will start solving itself - I can pretty much guarantee you.

OHMIGOD!

Yer dreaming about JT???

That is so funny, because I am *not* a big celeb crush girl at all, but when I was pregnant with Ethan I would have a Justin dream a couple of times a week.

*grin* And they were *really* great dreams.

I am right htere with you. I'm pretty done myself.

OH MY GOD!!! Yeah, this would have been a great dream if I hadn't been halfway awake for it to disturb me.

He generally does absolutely nothing for me, so I had no idea where it came from.

The part in the forest was really something...

He didn't do anything for me either, until I started having pregnant dreams about him. Weird.

I hope those come back...

I've been really nauseous too, something I didn't experience with Ethan. I can only eat a little at a time, but I am eating like 6 times a day now.

Heh, you think that JT is bad?? When I was pregnant I had not one, not two, but SEVERAL sex dreams about none other than ALEX TREBEK! Talk about disturbing. I remember waking up thinking, Alex Trebeck, REALLY???? Then I would blush and do a full body shudder. I had forgotten all about Alex, until now...

*as far as all of your symptoms, hang on girl cuz you're just getting started! Hang in there, listen to your body and best of luck!

Wow...I guess I shouldn't complain about JT. Although, at least Alex Trebek has more brains than God gave a rock...

speaking of dumb as a box of rocks, I once dated this guy who told me that "of all the people in the world, he really admired Alex Trebeck." When I asked him why, he replied (like I was an idiot for not already understanding) "Because he knows all of those answers for Jepordy."
No word of a lie! After he said that I thought to myself "fuck, I have GOT to break up with this guy"
