Mom and Jonathan convinced me to buy the camera that I have been wanting for months now. My dad sent $100 for my Birthday, and Jonathan kicked in another $1oo. I was tempted to use it for bills, but they pretty much strong armed me into getting the camera instead. Mom got us Lego Indiana Jones and a Vaultz case for all of our Wii games (in the original cases, they take up too much needed space). Little Human, with Daddy's help, bought me Wii Fit plus, which I had been asking for.
We took mom to her Doctor's appt. today. I hadn't met Dr. Thompson before. She wasn't what I expected, but in a good way. She really likes my mom, and wants to make sure that she is okay. She gave her a couple of new prescriptions and told her to try Spirulina for her energy issues. I think I might try it too. I am so tired of being exhausted all the time.
Today is the day, I do my resolutions. I don't think of them as such though, and I don't usually end up sticking to them. ( Here goes anyway: )

Party, or not!
Aug. 12th, 2009 09:17 pmToday was Little Human's 2nd Birthday. He got some nifty little toys. He got a pirate ship, a little garage with a car, a xylophone, and a child sized broom and dustpan (he loves to wander around with the adult versions, and he seemed to like them). Odd child...
I also made some rainbow colored cupcakes with buttercream frosting. These were tasty. He didn't seem all that excited about them, but did eat the frosting. I will be posting pictures of the yummy cupcakes.
Other than that, we didn't do much. We went to Jericho Nursery and bought oodles of plants. I highly recommend them. The staff is almost all from Rowland's. They were helpful and just plain nice people.
I believe it is time for bed now.
Oh, does anyone know where I can locally find the rubber gaskets for wire sealing jars and canisters (Like these)? I have a bunch of them that I want to use for storing dry goods, but the seals need to be replaced! I have found and will order them online if I have to, but I would like to find try to find them locally first.

Woke up to the alarm at Jonathan's house, then we both promptly rolled over and went back to sleep. By the time we woke up he had 5 minutes to get dressed and be at work! *ahem*
He hurt his back earlier this week, and, ummmm, I don't think I made it any better. He wasn't complaining at the time, but I bet he is now!!!
(Oh, he's on the phone with me now, and he seems to be fairly okay)

I'm dying my hair. I have more people on my groups. I am tired! I miss Sean (he's out of town). Just a little thought string for everyone. Love you lots!

If everything works out the way it's supposed to, I get to go out tomorrow night and get completely drunk! Happy Birthday to Me (almost, Jan. 8). I'll be a whole 25 years old! I hope that the people I love that live here will be there. I wish others (sparklypelt, staticwhip, & doomfrog) could be there. Then everything would be perfect!
Now, Rob, you need to get your employers to send you to Albuquerque! That way, one of my friends and I can get drunk and argue in front of you about which one of us would be a better elf (actually, I have no inclination to be an elf. I wanna be a fairy) Oh, and maybe I could introduce you to one of my friends. I think you'd like her! *EEEEEEEEG* (Miss Sparkly knows what this is about)
On a more serious note, the house stuff may not work out. I don't know yet. I keep hoping! I mean, this one is definitely sold, but I don't know about the one I want to buy. *sad pandora*
