Does anyone know if Coronado Center has a rule against visible tattoos for people employed there? elegantdreams isn't sure, and I can't find anything.

Well I know the people at Hot Topic usually flash them proudly. And I swear I've seen them in other trendy clothing stores.

Yes, but I don't work for Coronado Center, I work for Hot Topic. I have heard that anyone employed by Coronado Center and even those working in the mall concourse (aka at a cart) have to abide by their rules. I have heard that there is to be no visible piercings, but I am unsure on tats.

Pretty much every other store in the mall allows them and encourages them.

I am doing one of the kiosks. I have the nose ring, which I am not concerned about (nikki has one). I am concerned about the tat, since mine is larger than Nik's and on my arm. I guess we'll see.

I'd ask your supervisor if you have one... or call the mall and ask?

I think I'll have to call the mall. My supervisor for all intents and purposes is Nikki. I mean, the owner is there, but I gather she doesn't know either. They have seen a copy of the dress code but no one at the mall ever gave them one. I'll just wear a longer sleeve tee on my first day, and see what I can find out.

the mall does, actually, have a policy against visible tattoos or facial piercings. personally, i'd ignore it until and unless somebody who is mall management tells you to cover up.
