For some reason, the Death of Neil Gaiman's cat, Zoe, is seriously messing me up. I guess it is because Zoe is a female tabby version of my Sam. I lost him 9 years ago. I love Paddy, but Sam was the best cat ever. He had a tumor in his mouth adn they could have removed it, but the vet said it almost always comes back. He was a chubby boy, and I wasn't willing to let it get bad enough to really interfere with his enjoyment of NOMS. When we took him to put him down, he purred the entire time. It was the only thing that made it bearable. I hope that Zoe goes like that.

This in particular has lead to a breakdown that is wreaking havoc with my already sore throat...

I don't even know why it upsets me this much. IT ISN'T MY CAT!!! But it reminds me of my cat, and the twitpic just broke my heart.
