I went to the wine festival yesterday with elegantdreams, darkwench, and attempted to go with vladmira. The latter was not allowed in due to ID issues beyond her control. The three of us had a lovely time despite the let down at the door! We were kicked out early because of lightning. I managed to get a bottle of cherry wine before we left, but elegantdreams and darkwenchleft with noting but the wineglasses.

So, off to Trader Joe's we went. We didn't have nearly enough wine and I promised ~N~ I would buy her a bottle (which I did). We then went back to her house and were rejoined by vladmira, Joe, Justin, Berney, and Roxanne (before you wonder ohno_jonathan_o was the designated driver that dropped us off at the festival and picked us up). It ws awesome, and I realized how much I miss my friends when I don't see them often.

Made ribs, potato salad, oven roasted corn on the cob, and biscuits for dinner and am enjoying a lovely wine from TJ's that is quite yummy, and I am feeling it quite a bit! I don't need no stinkin wine festival!

altogether it was just a fun day! the kicking out kinda sucked, but hey, at least the whole festival was kicked out, not just us!

Roxy was saying there is some kind of park and ride, or train or something for the bernalillio version...then again, that is not for awhile.
