I just thought of something that some of you might be having issues with (I know it was making me nuts). If you get a shitload of credit card offers in the mail, look into *optoutpreescreen.com*. It is like the Do Not Call list for credit card companies. It took about a month for it to completely kick in, but it has been about two months since I got a credit card offer. Not to mention that everytime you get one of those "YOU ARE PRE APPROVED" notices, they have actually accessed your credit report (I discovered this by accident while checking my credit report). I signed up for the 5 year, because I was just impatient and didn't want to do the mail in lifetime program. It's easy, and it did work. It makes checking my mail box a little less frustrating, and my shredder a little bit more happy!

{EDIT} I just realized exactly how spammish this sounded without me meaning it to. I am serious, though. Go there, it works, it rocks.
