I am actually contemplating going to a salon, and just saying "Do what you want with my hair... as long as I don't end up bald, and I don't have to do a lot to it". It's only hair. If I hate it, it will grow back. I have no idea what I want, but my hair is driving me nuts. Now that my hair is brown, and elegantdreams has dyed her hair pink and black again, I want my red/black combo back, like RIGHT NAOW!!! I think I must do this before Metallica. *sigh*

it almost always works out in my favor when i tell the cosmotologist, "cut my hair the way you would cut it if you had my face and my hair and you didn't want to spend any time on it." this usually makes them like you enough to want to do a good job. sometimes when they look apprehensive, i say, "i won't get mad, i promise."
