Fuck me,
I have spent the last three days looking for the remote to my stereo. I know that many of you are saying "It's no big deal to lose the remote, the stereo has buttons on it". That's all well and good, but the buttons (all but 4 of them) on the actual stereo stopped working about 3 years ago. I had to unplug it to turn it off on Sunday night. The only way to control the blasted thing is with the remote, which I lost.
Lo and behold, I find it sitting next to my keyboard in the living room. Not in my bedroom, where the stereo is located. Why in God's name did I bring it out here? And why, when I have sat down at this computer everyday, for hours at a time, did I not see the remote RIGHT HERE????
