I didn't open any of the links. I am now used to this particular formula that they are using. I warned in the previous post, but no one is going to see that before they go clicking the links. It is just pissing me off.

I am all paranoid now about links. I got a nasty virus that caused quasi-husband to have to wipe my drive over the weekend. He does IT for a living and he couldn't get it to go away. And it wasn't showing up on S&D or Avast. I don't do anything half-assed...

I figure in the wake of the stuff going on, it makes sense to do so. I also have deleted my original email account, so if anything nefarious WAS trying to ensue, they cannot possibly get into the original email address associated with LJ- it's gone!

Wow. You did go all out. I don't blame you. I think I opened mine to my regular email address tied to my internets. I didn't even think of that. This shit is scary. I don't know what the point is. Really, what does it accomplish?

it accomplishes being an asshole. I've had LJ for 8 years. I don't want to think about it
